About Us

Who We Are

ToyTake2 was founded in 2021 with a simple but powerful idea:
to make quality furniture affordable, accessible, and sustainable for everyone in Birmingham.

We didn’t start big.
Our journey began in a tiny 200 sq ft storage unit, where we personally visited international students to buy back their second-hand furniture, helping them save time and reduce waste while giving those items a second life.

As demand grew, so did we —
from 200 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft, and now to our current 10,000 sq ft warehouse in Birmingham city centre, where we operate a full-scale second-hand and retail-return furniture hub.

Every step along the way has been built through hard work, trust, and a belief that good furniture shouldn’t be expensive or thrown away.

What We Do

Today, ToyTake2 provides a wide and constantly changing range of products, including:

• Second-hand furniture purchased directly from students and local residents

We carefully select each item, ensuring it is clean, functional, and worth reselling.

• Brand-new and nearly new furniture from Amazon and major UK online retailers

We professionally assemble and display these items inside our warehouse so customers can see exactly what they are buying.

• Customer returns, box-damaged items, and overstock goods

Many of these items are almost new — we repair, restore, or repackage them to give them a second chance.

We take pride in turning our warehouse into a space where every product, whether new or second-hand, is presented clearly, honestly, and ready to be used.

Our Philosophy

Honesty. Affordability. Sustainability. Community.

We believe everyone deserves a comfortable home — students on a budget, families setting up their first house, or anyone simply looking for good deals without compromising quality.

By buying second-hand items directly from students and rescuing retail returns that would otherwise be discarded, we help reduce waste and make furniture shopping more affordable for the entire community.

Our Vision

ToyTake2 is more than a warehouse.
It is a growing ecosystem — a place where unwanted items find new homes, and where customers discover quality products at prices they can feel good about.

From a 200 sq ft beginning to a 10,000 sq ft operation, our story is still being written…
and we’re excited to keep building the future of sustainable furniture in Birmingham.
